Accessibility Study

Clarity is part of the aesthetic.

Accessible design is not separate from taste. It is the discipline that makes the visual system usable for more people, more devices, and more situations.

What this changes in the way I design and build.

What I noticed

01WCAG 2.2 provides testable guidance for making web content more accessible, including focus behavior, navigation, contrast, and understandable structure.

02W3C's contrast guidance frames poor contrast as a practical barrier to reading, navigation, and interaction.

03Accessibility should shape early design decisions, because retrofitting clarity later usually weakens the product.

How I use it

  • Design focus states and navigation patterns before polishing motion.
  • Use contrast and spacing as interface infrastructure, not decoration.
  • Write labels and errors so people know what happened and how to recover.
